Abstract

Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya.

Background : Sectio Caesarea is the primary choice for medical personnel to save the mother and fetus which is carried out on the basis of certain medical indications. Hemoglobin and oxygen levels in the body have an important role in the body's circulation system. If the hemoglobin and oxygen levels drop during surgery, the skin tissue will not immediately fuse due to a surgical wound because the blood supply to the tissue decreases. Objective : To know the correlation between hemoglobin level and post sectio caesarea (SC) wound healing in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Method : This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with the type of purposive sampling. The sample size used was 35 mothers with Sectio Caesarea delivery who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results : The results showed that of 35 respondents there were 13 (37.1%) mothers with good post-sectional caesarean wound healing, 11 (31.4%) mothers with poor post-sectional caesarean wound healing and 11 (31.4%) mothers with bad post sectio caesarean wound healing. The relationship test results showed there was a relationship (p-value = 0.001) of hemoglobin levels with post sectio caesarean (SC) wound healing. Conclusion : There is a correlation between hemoglobin level and post sectio caesarea (SC) wound healing in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya.
